It is important to choose the correct Solar Water Heating set-up to prevent freezing and damage to the collector.
A properly installed Geyser Wise will monitor both the water temperature in the geyser and collector, if the temperate in the collector reaches 2°C, the pump will start circulating warm water from the geyser to the collector.

 

 

The anti-freeze temperature can be set between 0°C and 10°C. It is important that this setting is correct, as a setting of 0°C will cause the water to freeze and a setting of 10°C will cause an unnecessary loss of heat in your geyser.
